Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II wore a brooch designed by Canadian Designer, Rachel Mielke, to church with Prince Phillip in England. Saskatchewan Lieutenant-Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield presented her Majesty with the tourmaline, diamond and freshwater pearl brooch last October at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen looking stunning in a wonderfully coordinated outfit of pink and soft grey which gave the perfect backdrop for the subtle purple hues of the brooch.  “I know how much work goes into her wardrobe, so to see the Queen wearing the brooch only three months after receiving it was unexpected”, says Rachel Mielke, the CEO and head designer behind Hillberg & Berk. “Hearing the news and seeing the photos was a very special moment for me and my entire team.”
